A photographer and educator based in Israel, though for six months of most years you'll find me somewhere in Asia, leading workshops and chasing light.
My work lives at the intersection of street, travel, and documentary photography.
What drives me is not gear or technique for its own sake, but the philosophy of seeing: slowing down, engaging with a place deliberately, and finding the profound beauty hidden in everyday scenes.
I believe mastering photography means refining your instinct and developing a distinct visual voice. The technical part is just the entry fee.
A Decade Behind the Lens
For more than ten years I've traveled the world documenting human stories in their natural element. I would search for raw emotions, faces, and traditions of people from diverse cultures and religions, with a heavy focus on Southeast Asia and Africa. Between journeys, the streets are my canvas.
My photography has been featured by National Geographic, Lonely Planet, UNESCO, Britannica, Business Insider, Bradt Travel Guides, and TourRadar, and I regularly shoot documentary stories for NGOs.
Teaching & Community
Photography has always been my tool for connection. In 2017 I settled in China and founded the Chengdu Photo Club: The city's first international photography club, which grew to connect thousands of photographers from China and abroad, and made Chengdu a meaningful second home.
Today that same drive lives on my YouTube channel, where I teach photographers around the world to get better, not just at operating a camera, but at seeing. Alongside the channel, I work as a public speaker and photography instructor, running workshops across Asia that help photographers bridge the gap between technical execution and true creative expression.
